Lighting fixture GWIG, created as a result of cooperation between Intra Lighting and Slovenian designers  ASOBI, received prestigious international award for design, which is chosen by a jury of leading practitioners, who, along with I.D.'s editorial team, focus the abundance of submissions into a clear survey of the state of design. Selection is organized each year by American magazine for industrial design- I.D. On this year’s , already 52nd selection, among 2000 registered articles 150 candidates  successfully entered the finales. Products were divided into tree different categories: BEST OF CATEGORY, DESIGN DISTINCTION and HONORABLE MENTION.

Idea for lighting fixture GWIG comes from concept of creating ambiental jewellery, based on smallness and minimization of illuminating body and usage of modern LED technology. The desire was to upgrade its fundamental purpose upon lighting and beside functionality assure aesthetic element in space with intention to establish  discreet accentuation on special, particular objects present in the room.

For Intra Lighting such award  definitely means confirmation, that our business strategy, which places design in centre of its activities, is the right path to strive for

success on very competitive lighting market. We are very well aware that only carefully designed products, which can follow the newest technologies are capable to assure 

possibility of survival and create potential competitive advantage. Also in the future
